The Crux of the Real Gospel

Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Galatians 3:5–6

We know that preaching, hearing, and believing the gospel are so important because they unleash God’s power to save us from every area of defeat in life. But how do we know if we are hearing the real gospel? What sets the true gospel apart from every other “gospel”?

To answer this question, let’s go to the book of Jude. Apostle Jude tells us to “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3). What is “the faith” here that the church is to contend earnestly for?

My friend, when you hear the word faith mentioned in the New Testament, it refers to “justification by faith”—how one is made righteous before God based solely on his faith in Christ Jesus. This is the crux of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why the gospel is called “good news” and this is what sets it apart from all the false gospels.

Unfortunately, what many preach today is hardly good news, because justification by faith has been subtly replaced with justification by works. Yes, they may tell you that you are saved by grace through faith, but then in the same breath they corrupt the simplicity of the gospel by saying that you stay saved or get blessed through works. You’ll also hear about all sorts of things that you need to do for God in order to be qualified through right living. Now, right living is certainly important, but that is not the gospel. Also, right living comes by believing right in the gospel.

The crux of the gospel is not right living or good works, but justification by faith. And the apostle Jude tells us to contend earnestly for this. That term is translated from one Greek word, epagonizomai, from which the English word agony is derived. In other words, epagonizomai literally means “to agonize for.” We are to agonize for the faith! We are to fight for the truth that we are justified by faith and not works. This is the real gospel.

What else does the Bible say about the gospel we are to preach? Romans 1:17 says, “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’ ” What is supposed to be revealed in the gospel? Not our sins, as many are fond of preaching, but the righteousness of God! Only hearing about the grace of God and how we are righteous by faith in Christ will set us free from our struggles with sin, addiction, and bondage.

Romans 1:17 also tells us that this righteousness of God that we have in Christ is revealed from “faith to faith” and that the just “shall live by faith.” Can you see this powerful truth? It’s not this idea that once you are saved by grace through faith, you move on to works and watch your performance to maintain your salvation. Many Christians experience abundant joy when they are saved, only to lose that joy quickly when they are told, “Now that you’re saved, you need to work to please God in order to stay saved.”

No, my friend, it’s from faith to faith to faith to faith . . . all the way until we see Jesus face-to-face! This doesn’t mean that there is no place for good works or living a holy life. These are by-products of living from faith to faith. They will be evident in your life when you live believing that you are justified, made righteous, and blessed through faith in Christ. This is the good news that God’s Word exhorts us to fight for—righteousness by faith in Christ alone!

Jesus Is with Us in Our Troubles

“Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him.”

Daniel 3:28

The book of Daniel records how King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon made a towering golden statue and commanded all in his kingdom to bow down before it and worship it. Three young men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, whom the king had appointed to oversee the province of Babylon, refused to do so. Humiliated by their defiance, the king was livid. He gave them one more chance to bow down and worship his golden statue or be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace.

Without flinching, they said, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t . . . we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up” (Dan. 3:16–18 NLT). The king commanded that the furnace be heated seven times hotter than usual, and ordered some of his strongest soldiers to bind them and throw them into the furnace. The furnace was so hot that the flames killed the soldiers as they threw the three men into the roaring flames, securely bound.

Suddenly, the king jumped up in amazement and exclaimed to his officials, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God” (Dan. 3:24–25).

Nebuchadnezzar called out, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” The three men stepped out of the fire and all the officials and advisers crowded around them and “saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched” (Dan. 3:26–27 NLT). In fact, the flames only served to loose them from their bonds.

Amazed at how their God had protected them, Nebuchadnezzar began praising God himself. The king then issued a decree stating that if any person spoke a word against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they would be cut in pieces and their houses would be turned into ash heaps “because there is no other God who can deliver like this” (Dan. 3:29). Then, the king promoted the three men to even higher positions in the province of Babylon.

Beloved, this is your God.

It Is All About Seeing Jesus

My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.

Proverbs 4:20–22 NLT

I want to begin this day by asking you this question: amid all the different things you hear clamoring for your attention every day, are you hearing messages that are full of the good news of Jesus? This is so important because it is the basis of your walking in peace of mind and heart, and life and healing in your body.

The true ministry of any new covenant Bible teacher or preacher is to unveil Jesus to you and qualify you by the blood of Jesus. He or she does not come to unveil your faults or bring your sins to remembrance to disqualify you from entering God’s presence and enjoying His blessings. That is what an old covenant preacher does. In the Old Testament, the widow of Zarephath said to Elijah, “What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to bring my sin to remembrance . . . ?” (1 Kings 17:18).

The enemy, our accuser, wants you to be conscious of yourself and keeps telling you to look at your every wrong deed and thought. My friend, don’t play his game. Turn away from his accusations and from yourself, and see Jesus. God is not judging you today based on you. He has placed you in Christ, and He sees the excellence, beauty, and perfection of Jesus when He looks at you.

The devil wants you self-conscious. God wants you Jesus-conscious. It is in your best interest to find out as much as you can about Jesus—who He is, His titles, His official glories, all that He possesses—because all that He is, God has set to your account. You are a joint heir to all that He has and all the inheritance that is due to Jesus is yours as well (Rom. 8:17)!

The law is all about you looking at yourself. The new covenant of grace is all about you seeing Jesus. The Pharisees committed large portions of the Word of God to memory and yet they could not see the Word of God in the flesh, standing before them. We should not be interested in just accumulating Bible knowledge. We should be opening the Scriptures to see more of Jesus. Some people think that if they knew Hebrew and Greek, they would understand the Bible better. Well, the Pharisees knew Hebrew and that did nothing for them. What we need is for the Holy Spirit to unveil to us revelations and hidden gems about Jesus and His finished work.

Very often, when Jesus and His grace are not our focus, we find ourselves wandering in the desert of legalism and becoming discouraged and disillusioned with life as a believer. This was something Raymond, who lives in Australia, went through after becoming a believer when he was twelve. He was brought up believing that God would smite him if he did not keep the law perfectly. At the age of fifteen, he stopped going to church and reading the Bible as he felt that it was all too hard. But over the years, he never stopped believing that Jesus is the Son of God. At the age of fifty-four, Raymond kept a promise he made to his father to return to church. It was there that Raymond was introduced to my ministry, and this was his response to receiving the message of grace:

When I heard about what Jesus had accomplished for me at the cross, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. For the first time in my life, I felt so close to my Savior and all I could do was cry and say, “You are awesome, Jesus!” over and over again. I know that I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ through His perfect finished work on the cross and that as Jesus is in heaven, so am I in this world. So every time I go through a trial, I just ask myself, “Is Jesus defeated by this in heaven? No. Well, neither am I here on earth.”

I have learned to bring Jesus into every situation quickly so that I can rest in His unmerited and undeserved grace and love. Because God is with me, it does not matter what things look like in the natural as God is above all of it. I have learned to trust Jesus and tap into His love and wisdom daily. He is faithful and will NEVER leave me nor forsake me. I can truly say I have experienced the superabundance of God’s grace.

I know now that God had never forgotten me even though I turned away from Him. God answered my dad’s prayer and now his entire family serves the Lord! Hallelujah, praise Jesus!

Beloved, your enjoying peace, joy, and victory in this life is all about seeing Jesus, because from Him comes every supply and provision—His grace, His love, His righteousness, and His forgiveness. Keep focusing on His grace and love for you and I promise you, your life will be transformed beyond your wildest imagination.

You Have Been Forgiven Much

Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.

Luke 7:47

Let’s look at Luke 7:36-50 to see what Jesus said about the forgiveness of sins. Simon, a Pharisee, had invited Jesus to his house. While Jesus was seated at the table in Simon’s house, a woman came to Him. She began to weep and she washed His feet with her tears. Then, she wiped His feet with her hair, kissed them, and anointed them with fragrant oil.

When Simon saw this, he said to himself, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”

Even though Simon did not speak aloud, it is interesting that Jesus answered him by posing this question to him: “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?” Simon answered, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” Jesus said to him, “You have rightly judged.”

Then, Jesus turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

The woman loved Jesus much because she knew that she was forgiven much. In actuality, no one has been forgiven little. We have all been forgiven much. As for this woman, she knew it. So the most “dangerous” thing about this doctrine of complete forgiveness of sins is that you will fall in love with Jesus and end up effortlessly fulfilling the greatest commandment: “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” (Matt. 22:36-38). Hallelujah!

If you think that you have been forgiven little, then you will love little. But when you know the truth of how much you have been forgiven, you will love Jesus much! Knowing how much you have been forgiven is the secret to loving Jesus! In other words, you will only love Jesus much when you experience His lavish grace and unmerited favor in forgiving you of all your sins—past, present, and future. But His grace is cheapened when you think that He has only forgiven you of your sins up to the time you got saved, and after that point, you have to depend on your confession of sins to be forgiven.

God’s forgiveness is not given in installments. Don’t go around thinking that when you confess a sin, He forgives you only for that sin. Then, the next time you sin, you need to confess your sin again for Him to forgive you again. Such is the kind of belief that cheapens His grace. And the result of this is that because you think that He has forgiven you little, you will end up loving Him little, and deprive yourself of running to Him and seeing Him help, deliver and prosper you.

Beloved, with one sacrifice on the cross, Jesus blotted out all the sins of your entire life! Don’t cheapen His unmerited favor with your own imperfect efforts to confess all your sins. Accord this gift that Jesus has given you the value that it deserves by fully receiving and experiencing His unmerited favor today!

Message from Amir Tsarfati

Shalom from what is now a different world! Oh my goodness! You cannot imagine the relief that most here in Israel feel after Tuesday’s election. At the top of your ballots, you had a contrast in ideologies. True, there were some who liked one or the other more, and others who disliked them both to the same degree. But personality isn’t what was important on Tuesday. The foundational belief systems of each camp were of such a distinct contrast that voters were forced to choose one side or the other. When the platforms of the two parties were studied, it became crystal clear – Tuesday’s vote was a choice between good and evil.

And America chose the good! Thank you, Lord! We prayed for Your will to be done and we firmly believe that You have answered that prayer. Across all economic classes, races, backgrounds, and the only two genders that exist, American citizens voted for the unborn. They voted for safe borders. They voted for family values. And they voted to support Israel. Those of us on the east coast of the Mediterranean were watching. We saw what you Americans did. And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This vote was not just an affirmation of Donald Trump’s policies. It was a clear rejection of the disastrous programs of the Biden administration; ones which Harris tried to publicly reject. Unfortunately, when you are number two in the White House, it is difficult to separate yourself from the person who is number one. The people recognized that a four-year extension of Biden’s White House would be calamitous for the nation. He was essentially fired in Tuesday’s vote, and she was kicked to the curb along with him.

But it was more than just a firing of Biden. There was an urgency to what took place. This is what Republicanized so much of the Jewish vote, with an unheard of 45% of New York Jews voting for Trump. But it wasn’t just New York – Trump took 43% of the Jewish vote in Florida, 42% in Nevada, and 37% in Arizona. The Amish community, usually content to let the “English” hash out the political stuff while they quietly maintained their farms, also came out in force for Trump. They recognized that the energy and environmental policies of the liberals threatened their very livelihood. Trump even took very surprising areas, including the very Muslim-heavy region of Dearborn, Michigan, as well as vice presidential nominee Tim Walz’s home county. In addition to specific groups, there was a sense by many that they had to do something just for lifestyle-preservation. That led to a record number of first-time voters coming out from all walks of life with a majority going to Trump. Again, people knew the score. Regardless of religion or background, people know for a fact that a man is a man and a woman is a woman, and that the precious little ball of cells in the womb is a full-fledged human being from the moment of conception.

Congratulations to President Trump are already pouring in from around the world. Benjamin Netanyahu spent 20 minutes on the phone with him yesterday. Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Muhamad bin Salman called, as did many other world leaders. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei neglected to drop a line, though. Instead, he made threats, and he hung a giant banner in Tehran threatening Trump. It’s not surprising. He knows this will likely mean a violent end to his nuclear aspirations. It will also mean new sanctions the moment his nation steps out of line. This morning, the value of the Iranian Rial dropped to an all-time low in anticipation of the tamping down of the nation’s current free rein. In contrast, the Dow soared 1,400 points on news of Trump’s return.

Once again, it’s a brand-new world after Tuesday’s election. It will be very interesting to see the make-up of Trump’s cabinet. He is coming in much wiser this time and will be on the lookout for quislings and those who are Republican in name only (RINOs). Just know, Mr. President, that you have the support of many around the world, especially those of us in Israel. We don’t back any party nor are we interested in personalities. We celebrate this election because it was a vote for life – the life of the unborn and our lives here in Israel.

The Middle East

If you have not watched my MidEast Update from Tuesday, I would encourage you to do so. It is a deep dive into where Israel is in the war right now as it fights on seven fronts. Also, please don’t forget to subscribe to my Telegram channel. It is there that you will find updates on Israel, the Middle East, and the world as they happen. When you do subscribe, check to make sure that the subscriber number is over 600,000 to ensure you are on the right channel.

Seven Front War
As I mentioned above, Israel is fighting a war on seven fronts. Directly on our borders are Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank. Close enough to fire rockets and suicide UAVs at us are Iran, Yemen, and Iraq. This multi-front confrontation has given us Israeli civilians a new reality in which we need to be ready at any moment to rush to the bomb shelter at the siren’s call. It is emotionally wearing never knowing if today is the day you’ll receive the bad luck of the draw and have a missile or drone explode on your house. Meanwhile, nearly every family has someone close to them who is in the Israel Defense Force (IDF) in harm’s way. Please pray with us that God allows us to end this war soon in a manner that will keep us safe from those who want to do us harm.

Netanyahu Fires His Defense Minister
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Tuesday night. He’d likely been planning it for quite some time but was held back by pressure from the United States. But once the PM saw the elections going the right way, he cut ties with Gallant who was a shill of the Biden administration and acted essentially as an agent of the Israeli and American deep state. Into Gallant’s place will step current Foreign Minister Israel Katz, whose resulting vacancy will be filled with chairman of the United Right party, Gideon Sa’ar. The appointments of both men need to be approved by the Knesset.

Hostages Remain in Gaza
There are 101 hostages who remain in Gaza following the October 7, 2023, massacre. Of these, we have confirmation that at least 50 are dead, and we are demanding the return of their remains. However, that leaves up to 50 more who are still alive and are being held in deplorable conditions in the terrorist hideouts. A deal for a brief ceasefire and hostage swap was floated by international parties. Despite the numbers being lopsided – 11-14 hostages in return for around 100 Palestinian prisoners – Israel was open to the possibility. Hamas, however, rejected it out of hand. They demand everything or nothing at all.

Israel Seeks to Corral Gazans in Humanitarian Zone
There are currently four primary zones of IDF activity against the terrorists in Gaza. One is down south along the Philadelphi Corridor, one is central around Khan Yunis, and the other two are up north in Gaza City and nearer the border. Israel is seeking to move all civilians to the large Al-Mawasi Humanitarian Zone along the Mediterranean in Rafah, where they will be safe from the fighting. An additional benefit of that unified location is that it would allow the IDF to be effective in its humanitarian efforts. Currently, any aid given to Gaza is immediately stolen by Hamas. The terrorists will take what they want, then sell what is left over to the civilian population. Uniting everyone at Al-Mawasi will allow the IDF to give the aid directly to those who need it most. Unfortunately, Hamas understands this strategy and is embedding itself amongst the refugees in the humanitarian zone.

Saving Lebanon from Hezbollah
On October 8, 2023, rockets began to soar south into Israel from Lebanon. But it wasn’t the Lebanese government that was behind their launching. It was Hezbollah, which meant it was Iran. The Israeli government never had a desire to go to war with Lebanon. It wanted to destroy the terrorists. So it is the terrorists who are the primary targets of the IDF. And while it is easier in Lebanon to separate the terrorists from the civilians than it is in Gaza, Hezbollah has still found many Lebanese who are more than happy to shelter them. This is what has led the IDF to bolster its almost daily air strikes with a ground attack. As the military moves through the south of the country, it is finding safehouses, weapons caches, and a labyrinth of tunnels, all designed with a strike on Israel in mind. Despite these finds, the IDF continues to be strategic in their targets, while encouraging the civilian population to move to safety up beyond the Litani River. Meanwhile, we are hoping that international pressure and support can motivate the Lebanese people to save Lebanon from the cancer of Hezbollah. It is time to cut them out once and for all. True, the terrorists are so embedded that it is easier said than done. But it can and must be accomplished.

Smuggling Attacked at Syria/Lebanon Border Crossing
On Friday, an Israeli strike shut down a border crossing in the northeast of Syria. The area hit was being regularly used by Iranian proxies to smuggle weapons into Lebanon. The finds in the Lebanese ground action is evidence that Iran has been able to keep Hezbollah well-supplied despite it being illegal to do so.

Iran Still Mulls Attack on Israel
The threats from Iran continue. Many thought that the Islamic Regime might use the U.S. elections as a cover for an attack, but that proved untrue. But Israel remains on heightened alert. The talk is that Iran may employ 800 large warhead missiles this time, which could be devastating without the divine intervention we’ve been blessed with in the previous two attacks. It’s also possible that movement to fuel these massive missiles could be picked up by Israel, prompting a preemptive strike. As usual, all eyes will be on the Middle East.

Awaiting His Return,

Redeemed from Every Curse

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:13–14

Do you know that Jesus loves you and has borne every imaginable disease upon His own body on the cross so you need not suffer them? Today, I want to show you how you can turn to the cross for any and every medical challenge and condition.

In the verses above, we see that our Lord Jesus redeemed us from every curse of the law so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us. Now, Deuteronomy 28 has a long and detailed list of curses, and I want to focus on the curses that cover sicknesses and diseases that Jesus has redeemed you and me from:

• Consumption (diseases that cause your lungs to waste away), fever, and inflammation (Deut. 28:22)

• Boils, tumors, scurvy, “the itch, from which you cannot be cured” (Deut. 28:27 NLT)

• Madness, blindness, and panic (Deut. 28:28 NLT)

• Severe boils that cannot be healed (Deut. 28:35)

• Great and prolonged plagues, and serious and prolonged sicknesses (Deut. 28:59)

Christ has redeemed you from every single one of the diseases and afflictions mentioned here. If you think your particular condition is not quite covered, the Bible goes on to mention “all the diseases of Egypt” (Deut. 28:60). Egypt is a picture of the world. As the people of God, we do not have to be afraid of the diseases the world suffers because He has brought us out of the world, and now we may be in the world but we are not of this world (John 17:11, 14).

Not only that. It also goes on to include “every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law” (Deut. 28:61).

Hallelujah! Can you see that every disease and every condition is part of the curse of the law and that Christ has redeemed us from every curse? God wants you so blessed in your health that just as He put all your sins on Jesus’ body, He also put all your diseases on Jesus’ body. God loves you so much He allowed His own Son to become a curse so you can be redeemed from the curse of the law.

That doesn’t mean the enemy won’t try to enforce symptoms of the curse in your life. But whenever the enemy tries to bring on a symptom of the curse, you can reject it. Refuse to accept it. You have already been redeemed from that symptom in Jesus’ name!

Change Your Words, Change Your Life

Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.

Psalm 141:3

Do you know what the opposite of speaking well is? It is to curse. When our Lord cursed the fig tree, what did He say? Did He say, “I curse you, fig tree”? No, He simply said, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again” (Mark 11:14). And the next day, when they passed by the fig tree again, Peter said, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away” (Mark 11:21).

Jesus never used the word curse when He spoke to the fig tree, but He also did not correct Peter because he was right—the negative words spoken were tantamount to a curse. Oh, I hope you got that! Many times people don’t realize that they are unintentionally cursing themselves and the people around them with the constant flow of negative words that they speak about themselves and others. Words of defeat, anger, bitterness, and complaint are toxic. Change your words, and change your life. Flush out the negative words in your life with the words of God’s grace, love, and power!

And take note that when Jesus spoke to the fig tree, it did not wither away instantly. This was because when our Lord spoke to the fig tree, it first dried up at its very roots before death reached the leaves. So don’t be discouraged when you speak to your challenge and nothing seems to be happening. Believe that you are speaking directly to the root of the problem and that the outward manifestation of your faith is on its way!

I received this wonderful testimony from sister Lorraine, who resides in Darby, England. It shows you the power of praying or speaking, and how change begins from the very first day you speak:

My son and his wife have been married for ten years, and were trying desperately for a baby with no success. Six years ago, they began undergoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments and have had at least seven unsuccessful treatments.

Last March, my sister gave me a copy of your devotional and the entry for March 19 was about pleading the blood of the Lamb of God over all that is ours and our families’. The verse in the devotional was Exodus 12:13—“And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.” And you shared that what the nine plagues could not do, the blood did.

I was thrilled when I read this. So I prayed for my son and my daughter-in-law, pleading the blood of Jesus over their situation, and I was just so excited because I knew that something had happened in the spirit. A few weeks after I prayed, my son called to say that his wife was pregnant. I told him that I wasn’t surprised, as I had prayed for both of them recently. So what six years of medical treatment could not do, the blood of Jesus did! We all celebrated and were so thrilled.

A few Sundays later, our son called to say that she was exactly eight weeks pregnant. And it was exactly eight weeks from the day I prayed. Hallelujah!

Whatever you may be believing God for, I want to encourage you to open your mouth to speak His Word. Pray to your Abba and proclaim the blood of our Lord Jesus over your situation! The presence of blood means that there has already been a death. It signifies that a payment has already been made.

Today we can stand upon the unshakable foundation of God’s promises because the Lamb of God was sacrificed at Calvary and His blood is on the doorposts of our lives. We can declare that no plague, no death, no punishment, no harm, no danger, no evil can come near our dwelling because the full payment for our sins has already been made by our Lord Jesus. What wonderful assurance and peace we can have today—all because of the complete and efficacious work of Jesus!

You know what the Bible says, “In the valley of shadow of death, light has dawned.” Remember? Now you understand how dark the land was, how dark the world was. The occult was everywhere. And Jesus comes and Jesus says, “I am the light of the world, not Lucifer, not that light bearer. I am the true light of the world.” And Jesus performing so many miracles, gathering so many people around him, and the message of the Gospel going to the four corners of the world, the occult movement immediately went under the ground because nothing can withstand the power of Jesus. And if you don’t know, I can tell you that there is only one reason the Antichrist is not showing his face yet. It’s because of the power of Jesus that is in us.

The only time the occult will immediately show its true, unleash its true supernatural manifestation, is when we are gone. And I want you to know that as long as Jesus was here and as long as the disciples were here, and as long as the Apostles were here throughout the first century, the occult was underground. But the minute the second century came, they immediately lifted up their head again and a new movement was erected. And that is Gnosticism.

Most of us have seen a TV show about actual events where the announcer says, “The names were changed to protect the innocent.” When it comes to heresies creeping into the church, we could say something similar in that there is nothing new under the sun. The names of the heresies have changed but the goal is still to deceive the innocent.

Such is the case with gnosticism, it has changed names multiple times down through the centuries and continues to deceive many today, even to the degree that some have called it “Christian Gnosticism.” The truth is there is nothing Christian about it. In its most recent form it is called antinomianism, a big word which means “no law”. In other words, like ancient gnosticism, many today teach that because we are saved by grace, the actions taken in the body are of no consequence and there is no moral law for the Christian to live by.

Hebrews 12:14
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

Holiness, by definition, is the state of purity. If we are to pursue a state of purity, then impurity has to exist and be defined. Thus, according to scripture, what we do in the body does matter. We also need to be careful of slipping into the other direction, which is legalism. Because we are saved by the manifested grace of God and by God’s grace, we can live a life that is representative of His saving grace expressed in our behavior.

1 Peter 1:13-16
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

We may not hear the term Gnosticism thrown around much today, but you can be sure it is alive and well and just as dangerous as ever. What we do in our bodies does not determine our salvation, but it does impact our usability and believability when we teach the freedom that can be found in Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus,

How to Be “Undevourable”

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

1 Peter 5:8

The devil doesn’t want you to be strong in the Lord’s love for you. Instead, he wants you to question God’s love for you. To accomplish this, one of his key strategies is to try to make you think that God is mad at you.

God’s Word tells us that the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. This means that he cannot just devour anyone. He must look for those whom he can devour. Some of us are “undevourable.” There may not be such a word, but it certainly describes a great place to be when the enemy is on the prowl for his next victim.

My friend, you can become “undevourable” to the devil. The secret is found in the preceding verse, “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1 Pet. 5:7). Can you see it? The secret to being “undevourable” is to be carefree and not be bogged down by anxieties and worries! It is to laugh a lot, enjoy your life, and to take no thought for tomorrow.

To the legalistic mind, this sounds terribly irresponsible. However, in God’s mind, your greatest responsibility is to rejoice in the Lord always and to not worry about your past failures, your present circumstances, and your future challenges! Why? It’s because of what God’s grace has already done for you. And it’s because the One who has the power over death is caring for you and watching over you right this minute.

If you want to see victory over the enemy’s attacks, then learn to relax, to let go, and to release every oppressive thought, worry, and care into Jesus’ loving hands. Believe with all your heart that He cares for you and that you are not alone in this journey. You have a constant companion in Jesus on this great adventure called life.

Note that the devil walks about like a roaring lion. The devil is an impostor who tries to intimidate you through the impression that God is angry with you. Let’s be clear here: there is only one true lion and that is the Lion of Judah, Jesus Christ (Rev. 5:5), the King of kings, and He is not mad at you today. His wrath is directed at anything that seeks to destroy you. You are not the object of His wrath; you are the object of His love. So be strong in His love for you. That’s how you resist the devil who will have no choice but to flee from you!

A Man Under Grace Sees and Appreciates His Blessings

Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength . . . For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes.

Jeremiah 17:5–6

One of the saddest things about a man who trusts in his strengths and self-efforts—“who . . . makes flesh his strength”—is that he cannot see good when it comes his way.

As a pastor, I have seen, down through the years, people who don’t put their trust in the Lord when it comes to their marriages, finances, and other areas of weakness. They are determined to trust in their own efforts, and tend to be rather arrogant and frustrated with the people around them.

Many a time, when you observe people like that, you realize that they cannot see the good things that are right under their noses. They don’t appreciate their spouses, neglect their children, and even when other blessings come their way, they miss them!

Why is it that they can’t see good when it comes? It is because people who trust in their own efforts have no ability to see and receive blessings from the Lord.

They only believe in the “good” that can come from their own efforts. That is why they are proud. You would probably notice that such people don’t say “thank you” very often to the people around them.

They feel like they are entitled to and deserve whatever they receive. They are rarely grateful or appreciative, and that is why they take their spouses for granted instead of seeing them as a blessing from the Lord.

In contrast, people who are living under grace and who trust in the Lord’s unmerited favor are constantly thankful, praising God and giving thanks to Jesus. They are grateful and appreciative of the people around them.

When I was still a bachelor, I had an idea of the kind of wife I wanted and brought my request to the Lord. But you know what? He over-answered my prayer and gave me Wendy! I am truly grateful to the Lord for Wendy and I know that it is the unmerited favor of Jesus.

When I look at my daughter Jessica, I know that I don’t deserve such a beautiful daughter, and yet the Lord gave this precious girl to me. You see, my friend, I did nothing to deserve it, but the Lord blessed me with an amazing family.

When you live under grace, you can truly enjoy the blessings around you because you know that they are undeserved. Look at the family, friends, and other blessings that God has given you today. See how He has blessed you with them because He loves you. And when you see them as blessings, they will enrich your life (Prov. 10:22)!

The Holy Spirit Leads Us Through Peace

Then the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.

Genesis 8:11

Today I’d like to share with you the Hebrew word for “time”—eth, which first appeared in the phrase “in the evening” in the Bible passage above. What do you see? The first mention of right timing has to do with the dove—that’s a picture of the Holy Spirit. It’s the Holy Spirit who can guide you to be at the right place at the right time.

But look at what the dove has in its mouth—an olive leaf. When the flood during Noah’s time ended, God sent a message through the dove bearing a leaf that there would be no more such worldwide flooding and destruction (Gen. 9:15). It was a message of peace to men. It tells us that the message the Holy Spirit brings is one of peace.

My friend, the Holy Spirit leads us on the wavelength of peace. Sometimes, when you are about to do something, perhaps sign an agreement, plan a vacation, or take part in some activity, you might feel a lack of peace. If that happens, please stop and take time to pray about what you are about to do because the Holy Spirit speaks to us through the peace (or lack of it) He puts in us. He doesn’t speak to us through nagging or accusations. He leads us through peace. When there is no peace in your heart, it’s time for you to reevaluate your decision and listen to His leading.

There’s another beautiful truth hidden in the first occurrence of the word eth. Eth appears in the phrase “in the evening” not only in Genesis 8:11, but in other parts of the Bible as well (Gen. 24:11, Josh. 10:27). When I studied it, I realized that evening time is the time of our Lord Jesus’ finished work at the cross.

The Old Testament priests had two daily sacrifices, one in the morning at 9 a.m. and the other in the evening at 3 p.m. Jesus was crucified at 9 a.m. and He died at 3 p.m., thus fulfilling the type of both the morning and evening sacrifices. At the time of the evening sacrifice, all of God’s judgment had fallen on the body of Jesus. The floods of God’s judgment were ended by the sacrifice of Christ.

The Holy Spirit comes to you speaking peace, telling you that there is now no enmity between you and God, because judgment has passed. You are not perfect but you can have peace with God, and you can ask Him for success and be confident of His covering in all that you do because all your sins have been judged in the body of Christ!

Message from Amir Tsarfati

Shalom from home! That’s right, I am finally back in the Jezreel Valley where the grass is green, the trees are lush, and large pieces of metal occasionally fall from the sky! But I have nothing to complain about. Even though we are living in a war zone, it is our war zone. I am a Jewish Israeli who comes from a millennia-long line of Jewish Israelis. We may have had different names over the years – Hebrews, Israelites, Judeans, Jews – but from the patriarchs to our nation now, we are the same people. What that means is that we have the same God over us as our ancestors had when they crossed the Red Sea and when they stood strong against the Assyrian army. Nothing has changed in the Lord’s heart since the day He told Abraham that He would make him into a great nation and would bless those who blessed him and curse those who cursed him.

All you need to do is watch the news to know how true that statement is. Just ask the Gazans. Just ask Hezbollah. Sadly for dearly departed, there are others you can no longer ask – like Qassem Soleimani, Saleh Al-Arouri, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and so many more. You can ask the leaders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) who have twice launched at Israel a missile volley bigger than any other in the history of world, and have twice failed miserably in their results. You can’t really blame them for a lack of planning or a poor strategy. They mistakenly thought they were going up against Israel’s missile defenses. What they didn’t realize was that they were really going up against Almighty God. Anyone is going to lose a fight like that, no matter how big and how plentiful their missiles are.

So, it’s great to be home. We will miss our friends on the ship, though. What an amazing time we had touring, worshipping, teaching, and fellowshipping together. There were 650 in our group on board for the Behold Israel Discovering Daniel and Revealing Revelation Conference, and I think that at one time or another I had a chance to meet nearly everyone. I was particularly excited because people representing five different continents joined us. It’s wonderful when we get to go to a church to hold a conference. But it’s particularly spectacular when you can witness God’s family gathering from all over the world and uniting together in a bond of His love. It was a special time, and I can’t wait until we do it again in the Caribbean in January.

The Middle East

Sadly, the various sides in Israel’s war against the terrorists didn’t halt hostilities so we could focus on enjoying our cruise. But I had my phone which kept me up-to-date with current news, and which also allowed me to pass that information on to you through Telegram. If you do not follow my Telegram channel yet, please do so now. And remember, any channel with my name on it that has less than 600,000 followers is a fake.

The Battle in Lebanon
The newsletter week began with sad news. In just two days, October 24 and 25, 13 Israeli soldiers were killed in action in Lebanon and Gaza. As the nation was still mourning that loss, a heavy barrage of rockets was fired from Lebanon on Tuesday at northern Israel. One of the rockets struck the town of Maalot-Tarshiha, killing a 22-year-old Israeli Arab man. Throughout the week, other rockets were fired and suicide UAVs were launched.

Thankfully, between the IDF’s constant airstrikes and Hezbollah’s difficulty in rearming, the terrorist group is finding it more and more difficult to strike at Israel. Yoav Gallant, Israeli Defense Minister, said on Tuesday that Hezbollah only has 20% of its rockets and missiles left, and those batteries are not organized. Every day, that number decreases even more as the IDF carries out its sorties. This past week, Beirut, Baalbek, and Tyre were all hit particularly hard. Iran is watching this and realizing that Hezbollah cannot effectively respond to Israel. At the same time, Hezbollah is watching Iran and learning that it can no longer rely on their benefactor nation to effectively support them.

In other news, Hezbollah has announced a new leader to take the place of Hassan Nasrallah who was permanently removed from office in a targeted killing. Naim Qassem, a former deputy of Nasrallah, is now the official secretary general of the terrorist group. I’ve decided to let you fill in your favorite “short-timer” joke here, because sometimes there are just way too many options from which to choose.

Gaza and UNRWA
On Tuesday, a unit of elite “ghost” IDF soldiers entered a building in Jabalia, northern Gaza. As they reached the upper floors, an explosive device was detonated killing four, aged 20-to-22, and wounding three others, one of them seriously. Once again, the nation mourned.

On Monday, the Israeli Knesset passed a law banning the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) from operating within its borders. Not surprisingly, the UN is having kittens, as is most of the world’s media. But anyone who has truly been following the war, beginning with the October 7 attack, know that UNRWA has allowed itself to passively be used by, and at times actively participated with, the terrorists of Hamas. How could any nation be expected to allow a pseudo-humanitarian agency that is actively working toward the country’s demise to operate free-and-clear? Kudos to Israel’s government for shutting down these shills and charlatans.

West Bank-Born Terrorism
Several dozen people were boarding a bus at a stop near Glilot base north of Tel Aviv on Sunday morning. Suddenly, a full trailer truck intentionally swerved off the road and plowed through the crowd and into the bus. At least 40 were injured, with one 72-year-old man succumbing to his wounds The driver of the truck, an Israel Arab from Kalansweh, an Arab city just outside the borders of the West Bank, was shot dead by civilians at the scene.

Later that same day, a terrorist accelerated his vehicle toward IDF soldiers who were carrying out counterterrorism work in Hizma, West Bank. When no one was struck, the driver leapt from his vehicle with a knife in his hand in an attempt to stab someone. He was shot and killed by soldiers. We cannot forget about the West Bank when we are praying for Israel. It is a breeding ground for terrorism and can be just as dangerous for IDF troops as Lebanon and Gaza.

Israel Strikes Back at Iran
Early Saturday morning, Israel executed its strike against Iran in retaliation for the Islamic regime’s Operation True Promise 2 – a failed operation which launched nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel. Not surprisingly, the IDF was much more successful than Iran’s IRGC. After hacking and freezing Iranian radar screens, the Israeli Air Force was able to send wave after wave of bomb-laden jets toward Tehran and other key strategic sites.

Here are some of the ramifications of this attack. First, the strike wiped out Iran’s air defense capabilities, including their three remaining Russian S-300 air defense systems. Second, Tehran was made especially vulnerable by this strategy, as was western Iran from which the long-range missiles had been fired from toward Israel. Third, the IDF estimates that it will be two-to-three years before Iran can build back up their air defense capabilities. Fourth, although Iran still holds over 2,000 long-range ballistic missiles, it will have to ration them because their ability to build more was destroyed by the Israeli airstrike. Fifth, there was unfortunately no damage to Iran’s stockpile of UAVs. Sixth, Israel is preparing for a retaliatory strike by Iran. However, this time the Americans are expected to participate to a greater degree in the defense and interception of missiles.

This is my quick summary. A very complex strike occurred on numerous targets with every plane returning safely. Israel has now proven that it can strike Iran when and where it wants. Iran was left with a much-weakened air defense system, while Israel’s has recently been bolstered by three additional THAAD air defense systems. Israel has grown stronger, while Iran has become much weaker. Now, Israel sits and waits alongside much of the world to see what the United States will do on November 5.

Late News: CNN reported that Iran has very likely made a decision to respond against Israel before the U.S. elections. The probable reason for them making such an ill-advised move is because they think that a new White House is coming that will make striking back against Israel much more difficult. Thus, they let their demonic Islamic pride overcome their common sense. If the chance of this happening is shown to be high, then we just might see Israel preemptively strike Iran with a harder blow. This could be a very interesting weekend.

One last thing to remember: if Iran thinks that Israel has forgotten their attempt on our prime minister’s life, they are sadly mistaken. Sleep on that, Mr. Supreme Leader.

Boxing Day in Israel
For those of you who know my friendship with boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, you know how hard it is for me to say the following words – “Floyd Mayweather, Jr., is a great guy!” But it is absolutely true! Currently, Mayweather is in Israel, his fourth trip since the war began, visiting wounded IDF soldiers and doing what he can to encourage people. He even met with Prime Minister Netanyahu yesterday, telling him, “Your strength and courage to protect the Jewish people is inspiring.” So, even though one of the wins in his perfect 50-0 record was against Manny, I’ve still got to stand up and cheer this great sports hero.

A Contrast of American Women
Lisa Johnson, the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon, is actively advocating within the Lebanese political system for the government to begin preparing for a post-Hezbollah era. “The Lebanese people must demonstrate their determination to rise up and free themselves from Hezbollah,” the ambassador was reported as saying. Agreed, Ambassador Johnson, and well said. It is only when the citizens of Lebanon unite to oust Hezbollah that the people will finally be free.

In contrast, Ariana Tabatabai, the Pentagon official under suspicion for leaking highly classified material about Israel to Iran, has been transferred to a new role where she will oversee education and training within the Defense Secretary’s office. With this new position, she will have much less access to confidential material. My question is why does she have access to any material at all and why has she not yet been arrested?

A Contrast of UNIFIL Responses
Eight Austrian soldiers assigned to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) were injured by a Hezbollah rocket on Tuesday that was fired into the middle of the international force’s Naqoura base in Lebanon. The world’s media responded with a stern whisper followed by silence. However, when Israel attacked terrorists near the same base back on October 10, the collective heads of the international community exploded. Hezbollah conducted a direct attack on UNIFIL; Israel conducted an adjacent attack that didn’t touch UNIFIL. But are we surprised at the responses? Absolutely not. As we all know – no Jews, no news.

The Sick Man’s Rage will keep you on the edge of your seat. Perfect for Christmas break reading and for gifts under the tree. Preorder your copy today before its December 3 release.

Now that I’m back in Israel, expect to see me a lot more on YouTube. Keep your eyes open on my Telegram, Facebook, and YouTube channels to ensure you don’t miss anything. I’ll be seeing you online!

Thank you again for your prayers and for your support of Behold Israel. As we are nearing the end of this year, I am excited for what God has planned for 2025. What will next year hold? I have an idea, but, as God has shown me often in the past, His paths are always surprising and inevitably so much greater than what I’ve laid out. But as long as we keep our eyes on Him, we know that it will be good.

Awaiting His Return,

Abide in His Perfect Love

Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.

Psalm 91:9–10

I know it can be very hard to feel God’s love for you when you are faced with multiple symptoms in your body, mounting debts from your medical bills, and worries about your future. We live in a world where we are governed by our five senses, and there are times when it is hard to believe in the love of Someone we can’t see, touch, or hear.

But we cannot depend on feelings and outward circumstances (that can change) to be assured of God’s love for us. It is so important we fix our eyes, instead, on our Lord Jesus, whose love for us is perfect, never changes, and never fails.

May I share with you some of the things you can do that I believe will help to keep you in His perfect love?

Instead of allowing the enemy to feed you with lies that cause you to be fearful, keep listening to messages that will keep you in the consciousness of God’s love for you. Embrace His love to drive out every fear.

Every time the enemy tries to attack you with fears, plug into a sermon that magnifies the Lord’s goodness and love for you. Instead of giving in to the devices of the enemy, keep listening to sermons about Jesus’ finished work.

Instead of reading articles on the internet that tell you how serious your condition can become, or reading your medical report over and over again, read praise reports about the Lord’s love and faithfulness. Read scriptures about His love and healing promises. Garrison yourself with the Word of God and keep yourself in His love.

The Bible tells us, “And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16).

It’s not enough to know verses about His love. Keep meditating on them until you believe He loves you.

When we keep ourselves in the consciousness of God’s love, we are abiding in God. In other words, we are making Him our dwelling place. That is so powerful because when the Lord is your dwelling place, you are in a place of safety and protection.

Read Psalm 91 and declare over yourself that no evil shall befall you nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. As you abide in Him, the almighty God becomes your refuge and fortress.

It doesn’t matter how many people have died from the disease you have been diagnosed with. A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you (Ps. 91:7). And even if you are already in trouble, the Lord is with you and He will deliver you.

The Law Demands, Grace Supplies

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Ephesians 2:8–9 NLT

In Luke 18, we read about a rich young ruler, who came to Jesus saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” (Luke 18:18). I believe that through this story, the Lord wants to help us understand that we can be justified only by faith and not our works.

Justification by faith produces hope, peace, and joy and a heart for Jesus that results in good fruit. Attempting to be justified by works produces fear, anxiety, and an inability to produce lasting fruit.

When the rich young ruler came wanting to be justified by his works, the Lord gave him the law to bring him to the end of himself. Jesus said to the rich young ruler who thought he had kept all the laws, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

The rich young ruler was found lacking in one thing. The very first commandment is, “You shall have no other gods before Me” (Ex. 20:3). Yet money was his god—he walked away sorrowful when the Lord asked him to sell all that he had (Luke 18:20–23).

There is no record that he gave even one nickel to the poor. But look at what happened when Jesus invited Himself to Zacchaeus’s house. Not one commandment, just pure grace was given. And it resulted in Zacchaeus’s giving half his wealth to the poor and making a public commitment to repay fourfold to everyone he had stolen from!

The law demands, grace supplies.

The law demands, and it results in fear, guilt, and sorrow. Grace supplies, and it produces generosity, holiness, and inward heart transformation.

Now, you tell me, which gospel should we preach? Justification by works through the law? Or justification by faith through the power of God’s grace?

Unfortunately, there are many believers who after they have been saved are taught and believe, like the rich young ruler, that they can be justified before God only by their works. They end up conscious of failing Him and with a fearful expectation of God’s punishment and judgment.

Every bad thing that happens to them reinforces that fear. Even when things are going well, they are fearful of losing God’s blessings or protection because of a mistake they may have just made.

The result? Insecurity, dread, anxiety, and all kinds of fears become constant companions that rob them of the joy of living, let alone living life with boldness and confidence.

Beloved, no man can meet the demands of the law and be justified. We can be justified only by faith in the blood of the Lamb. If you are not anchored in this truth and if your conscience is not washed by the Lamb’s blood, you will always be fearful.

Our justification is from faith to faith, not faith to works. It is “accomplished from start to finish by faith” and faith alone (Rom. 1:17 NLT)!

Message from Amir Tsarfati

When Israel will acknowledge Jesus as Messiah, that’s the Israel that will be saved. “I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem,” Zechariah 12, “the spirit of grace and supplication. Then they will look at Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only Son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.” There has to be – you see, the Tribulation, as hard as it’s going to be, is the only thing that will break the religious spirit of Israel. It is the only thing that will bring them to the point where the rabbis and their tradition are not going to save them.

That’s why the Bible says in Hosea, chapter five, verse 15, “I will return again to my place until they acknowledge their offense, and through their affliction, they will earnestly seek me.” So Israel will be judged. Yes, and the ones that will not choose the mark of the Beast, and the ones that will eventually run away from him rather than worship him, those are going to be kept in the desert for 1,260 days, as Revelation chapter 12 says, and that these are the ones that Jesus will bring back to Himself upon His second coming, and these are the ones that are going to receive Him, and then all Israel indeed will be saved.

Among the many consequences of the fallacies of Replacement Theology and Dual Covenant Theology is they rob the beauty we can witness and the lessons we can learn from God’s relationship with His chosen people.

Replacement Theology says that God replaced His chosen people with another group, the church. Dual Covenant theology says God has a different covenant through which He will save the Jews than He does for the salvation of the Gentiles. Both teachings are grievous errors in Biblical interpretation and thieves and robbers of wonderful truths.

Jeremiah 31:35-37
Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, and its waves roar (The LORD of hosts is His name): “If those ordinances depart From before Me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever.” Thus says the LORD: “If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says the LORD.”

Replacement Theology requires that God break an everlasting, unconditional covenant made with both Israel and the land He promised to them. Dual Covenant theology makes the Holy One of Israel a misnomer because they sat that Israel can be saved without the One whom the title represents, Jesus.

The truth is that Israel has not been replaced by the church, and in order for any Jew to be saved they must come to the King of Jews for salvation just like any Gentile.

Romans 11:25-27
For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; for this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.”

If the church has replaced Israel, then why is Paul talking about God taking away their sins and all Israel being saved? If Dual Covenant theology is true, then Jews can be saved by keeping the law. So, why is Paul referring to a Deliverer out of Zion, which is an idiom for Jerusalem?

The lessons we should be learning from Israel are that God keeps His word, and He disciplines those whom He loves. God never loses track of His people. Israel is God’s timepiece, and the last days center on Israel. God never meant for Israel to become religious, instead He desires a relationship with His people. God can protect His people through anything. On and on the list goes of lessons we can learn from God’s special relationship with His chosen people.

Does “God saving all Israel” include unbelieving Jews who reject the Messiah? No. No one is saved because of their nationality, and anyone who is saved receives that salvation by the blood of the Lamb of God slain from the foundations of the world – Jesus.

Zechariah 13:8-9
“And it shall come to pass in all the land,” says the LORD, “that two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, but one-third shall be left in it: I will bring the one-third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; and each one will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’”

Two-thirds of the Jews will die during the Tribulation and they will all die in unbelief. The Jews who come to faith in Yeshua, Jesus, will survive the Tribulation by means of divine protection, and in the end they will declare, “The Lord is my God!”

Acts 2:36
“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

The declaration that “the Lord is my God” is an acknowledgement that the surviving Jews of whom the Lord will say “This is My people” will finally see Jesus as whom they never before would accept Him to be – God with us.

Zechariah 12:10
“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.”

It is at this moment, when Jesus returns to the Mount of Olives, that Israel, all Israel, will be saved and declare that Jesus is my Lord and my God.

Replacement Theology and Dual Covenant theology are not just heresies, they are robbers and deniers of the faithfulness of God to those whom He has chosen. One of the biggest takeaways for us regarding God’s covenant relationship with Israel is this:

Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our God is faithful, and His relationship with Israel is proof of just how faithful He truly is!

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus,

Salvation in the Name of Jesus

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom.

2 Timothy 4:18

Psalm 91 ends with the power-packed verse, “With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.”

Many years ago, the Lord opened my eyes to see that apart from the four names of God that are mentioned in the first two verses of Psalm 91, there is another name of God, a fifth name, concealed in the very last word of Psalm 91.

You see, in Hebrew, the word “salvation” is the word yeshua. And Yeshua is the Hebrew name of our Lord Jesus! Now, isn’t that beautiful?

This is what God was saying: “With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My Yeshua.” Long life is found in our Yeshua. You can know God as El Elyon, God Most High, as the Almighty Shaddai, as Jehovah, and even as Elohim, but the name that gives you full and utter confidence is the name Jesus!

It is not enough to know that God is all-powerful. It is more important you know that God is willing to use His power and might to save you!

That’s what our Lord Jesus did at the cross for you and me. He came and He showed us His salvation by sacrificing Himself on the cross for your sins and my sins. He died young that we may live long. And not just live long in this world.

At the cross, He purchased for us the gift of eternal life, paid for with His own blood. The moment you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your salvation in Him was sure and secure!

I grew up in a church where I was taught that when you sin, you will lose your salvation and have to get born again all over again. This erroneous teaching oppressed my mind day and night. The enemy incessantly attacked me with thoughts that I had lost my salvation.

As I was seeking the Lord for answers one day, He opened my eyes and pointed me to the above Scripture passage from 2 Timothy.

Just like that, when the truth of God’s Word came in, all the oppression left me. And every time the thought that I had lost my salvation reared its ugly head again, I would quote this verse, boldly declaring, “It is written, ‘And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom.’”

Beloved, I highly recommend that you meditate on this Scripture. In this one verse you find the Lord’s protection and preservation unto eternity!

God’s Heart Revealed

“He who has seen Me has seen the Father.”

John 14:9

How do you know it is God’s will to heal you? Just look at what Jesus did during His earthly ministry. When we look at Jesus, we see our heavenly Father’s heart for us, for Jesus said that anyone who has seen Him has seen the Father.

Throughout the Gospels, what do we see Jesus tirelessly doing?

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sick- ness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

—Matthew 4:23–24

Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.

—Matthew 15:30

When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.

—Luke 4:40

Over and over again, the Bible records how our Lord Jesus “went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil” (Acts 10:38). He caused the lame to walk and the blind to see. He unstopped deaf ears. He cleansed people with leprosy. He even raised the dead.

And do you know what our Lord Jesus said about all that He did? He said, “The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but the Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works [His attesting miracles and acts of power]” (John 14:10 AMP).

Jesus said it was the Father who worked (through Him) wonderful healing miracles everywhere He went. Can you see that it is truly your heavenly Father’s desire for you to be completely healed of every disease?

Worship Brings Lasting Transformation

“She has come beforehand to anoint My body for burial. Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.”

Mark 14:8–9

When it comes to the value that we place on Jesus, let me share something powerful with you that will cause you to grow in your relationship with the Lord and bring lasting transformation in your life.

In the Old Testament, the burnt offering came in three sizes—literally, big, medium, and small (Lev. 1:1–17). The rich would bring an expensive bullock; the middle-income, a lamb; and the poor, a pair of easy-to-obtain pigeons or turtledoves.

Now, while the offerings differed in size, in terms of value to God, they were all equal and acceptable to Him, because they all reminded Him of the one final and perfect sacrifice of His beloved Son. So whether it was a bullock, lamb, or pair of turtledoves, they were all accepted and killed, and their blood was shed to make atonement for the offerers’ sins.

What’s the significance of knowing all this? The three animal sacrifices are actually typologies of our appreciation of Jesus and His finished work today. For instance, many believers have a lamb-sized revelation of Jesus. They know that Jesus is the Lamb of God who has washed away their past sins with His blood.

Then there are some Christians who have only a pigeon-size revelation of Jesus. They see Him as the Son of God Who came down from heaven to die for man’s sins.

And finally there are believers who have a bullock-size revelation of Jesus and His cleansing blood. As the bullock was the most expensive of the three sacrifices, these believers are spiritually rich because they have a large and deep revelation of Jesus, His blood, and how it has cleansed them of all their sins.

In the same way that all the three sacrifices were acceptable to the Lord, we as believers are all accepted in His sight, no matter what our revelation and how we value Jesus. But God wants you to grow from having a pigeon-size revelation of His Son to having a bullock-size appreciation of Him.

Why is this so important? Because everything starts from the inside out. That inward spiritual wealth will translate into outward benefits of peace, stability, joy, provision, and victory. Back then, the wealthier you were, the bigger the size of your offering. Today, the larger your revelation of Jesus, the more spiritually wealthy you are!

My friend, when you esteem Jesus, when you worship Him and give unto Him, it brings lasting transformation not only in your life. As we have seen with Mary in today's scripture, it also has an effect for generations and generations to come.

Mary poured out and gave her very best to the Lord, and Jesus said she prepared Him for His burial. In His words, Jesus enveloped her forever in the sweet incense of His praise of her.

Today we are still talking about and honoring what Mary did for our Lord two thousand years ago. Talk about your good works having an effect for generations to come!

Your time spent in studying the person of Jesus and worshipping Him will come back to you. You will experience a quality of life beyond your wildest imagination when the Lord Jesus is at the center of it all. And that is why the grace revolution is all about having a heart for Jesus!

Message from Amir Tsarfati

Shalom from the beautiful Mediterranean waters between Santorini, Greece, and Sicily, Italy! We are on day six of our ten day Discovering Daniel & Revealing Revelation Mediterranean Cruise. So far, we’ve seen biblical locations like Ephesus and Athens, as well as beautiful areas like Istanbul and Mykonos. But most exciting of all is that we’ve been able to teach through the entire book of Daniel already and are well into Revelation. It’s been a wonderful time getting to know 650 of our newest best friends, and it’s quite honestly been quite nice for my wife and me to temporarily get away to a place where we don’t need to worry about things dropping from the sky onto our heads.

Out here on the serene sea, it becomes just a little clearer how people can begin to forget what originally got Israel in the war. The calm waters and the beautiful sights are so different from what I’m constantly seeing back home. But we cannot forget October 7 and all the heinous actions of Hamas. That is one of the reasons why Steve Yohn and I have written The Sick Man’s Rage. The first quarter of the book is a reminder of the horror and tragedy that took place that terrible October day. The thriller then points an accusatory finger at all those who sided with the terrorists, including those who did so more subtly, like Turkey. The book is releasing in six weeks. Now is the time to get your preorders in, so that you can be sure to have them in time for Christmas and so we can be guaranteed that the books get into the big box stores like Walmart, Target, and Hobby Lobby.

The Middle East

Assassination Attempt on Netanyahu
The nation of Israel survived a bit of a close call this past week. A UAV was fired by Hezbollah forces toward the home of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara. Thankfully, the couple were not at home at the time, and the attack caused no injuries. The PM responded by calling the attempted assassination a “grave mistake” and warned on X that “This will not deter me or the State of Israel from continuing our just war against our enemies in order to secure our future.” While the attack was carried out by Hezbollah, there is credible evidence that Iran was behind it. Thus, no one should be surprised that the Islamic regime quickly tried to cover its failure with bravado saying that there would be major destruction to Israel if Netanyahu’s people came after Supreme Leader Khamenei.

Lebanon
It has been a very rough week for Lebanon. For lack of a better phrase, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) is bombing the heck out of Hezbollah. The Dahieh neighborhood of Beirut in particular has been the recipient of the IAF’s focus due to the area’s locations for weapons manufacturing and storage. The fact that it is also home to some of Hezbollah’s primary headquarters makes it an even juicier target.

Other areas of Lebanon have been feeling the brunt of Israel’s force, also. Tyre has seen many sorties taking out terrorist strongholds. Also, in the south, much of the town of Kfarkela has been reduced to ruins. Just across the border from Metula, Israel, Hezbollah has shielded itself in Kfarkela as they shot anti-tank rockets and mortar shells at the Israelis. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has put a strong effort into seeing that this activity ceases.

Gaza
Let me start here with a brief reminder that Yahya Sinwar is dead, killed by a sniper’s bullet. The pictures were not pretty, but they were definitive. When he was finally dispatched last Thursday, he was panicked, helpless, and alone. It seems so appropriate. And if your heart feels a slight twinge of pity for him, take a look on my Telegram at the thousands who went to the sight of the Nova festival to pray on Tuesday, the day that marked the one year anniversary of the event on the Jewish calendar. There are still too many tears to be shed over the victims at the festival and throughout southern Israel to have any left over for the man who perpetrated it all.

The fight still rages in Gaza. The IDF is determined to clear the terrorists out of the northern part of the region. But because Hamas entrenches itself with the population, it is essential to get everyone out of the area and move them down to the humanitarian zone near Khan Yunis. Once that’s done, all the terrorist weapons and infrastructure can be cleared out. Emptying the northern Gaza Strip, including Gaza City, will be the biggest blow to Hamas’s survival. It will also finally allow Israel to retake the effort to get humanitarian aid to those who need it. Once the populace doesn’t depend upon Hamas for aid distribution, the terrorists won’t be needed anymore.

To this end, last week thousands of civilians in Jabalia were warned by the IDF to flee. Hamas resisted the effort because they were using the Gazan citizens as shields. Somehow, the population managed to break free and move out, allowing the IDF to move in. Now, amidst all the bullets and explosions, hundreds of terrorists are coming out of their holes to surrender.

In a new intelligence revelation that surprised no one, six Al-Jazeera journalists were discovered to be operatives in Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations. With various functions, such as sniper, deputy head of a propaganda unit, and leader of a rocket launching squad, these journo-terrorists took embedding just a little too far. Al-Jazeera, using an “I’m rubber, you’re glue” defense strongly denied the accusations and attempted a reversal saying that Israel targets their reporters.

Israeli Security Breach
Speaking of people working undercover, Israeli intelligence arrested seven people for spying for Iran. Originally from Azerbaijan, the group received cryptocurrency from Tehran for photographing and gathering information on key military sites all over Israel. They carried out their espionage for two years and are reported to have completed 600 missions. This is one of the most serious security breaches in Israel in recent years.

United States Security Breach
And, while we’re on the subject of espionage, it seems that the Defense Department in Washington sprung its own leak. Ariane Tabatabai, chief of staff of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and a U.S. naval intelligence officer, leaked classified documents about Israel to Iran. However, that’s just what we know about for sure right now. This woman had access to all naval movements and all special forces operations in the world, including the Middle East. Who knows what she might have passed on? What’s so aggravating is that there was credible information that she was spying back in October 2023, and not only did the Biden administration choose not to pursue it, but she was able to keep her security clearance. Unbelievable!

More from the U.S.
United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken made another visit to Israel Tuesday. His message? Don’t attack Iran, stop the war in Gaza, and send more food to Hamas. Okay, he said to send food to the Gazan citizens, but everyone knows who actually gets the humanitarian aid. I feel badly that the SecState had to travel all the way to Israel for another conversation that would be roundly ignored. My suggestion is that he just sends a recording of himself giving his usual spiel to Netanyahu. That way, whenever the person making the real decisions in the White House says to go bug the Israelis again, Blinken can just call up the PM and say, “Hey, Bibi, mind playing that video again?” Netanyahu could tell him “sure”, then have it running in the background while he and his staff got real work done.

It's less than two weeks before the U.S. election. Want more evidence that your vote is important? The Wall Street Journal reported that Yahya Sinwar cited liberal Israeli opposition and pressure from the White House as reasons for refusing a hostage deal. In other words, without the radical Israelis and the double-speaking U.S. administration, we might have our hostages home by now. Again, America, your vote counts!

Turkey
Two armed men stormed the Turkish Aerospace Industries headquarters near the Ankara airport yesterday. In the ensuing melee, five people were killed and 22 more were injured. The attackers, identified by Turkish authorities as members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), were both killed on site.

The Ministry
Just because the cruise is going on doesn’t mean that Behold Israel has shut down regular operations. On Monday, we released a wonderful video with Dr. Rick Yohn and me called “Explore the Bible: How We Got the English Bible”. In this first in a two-part series, Rick and I looked at how we got from Wycliffe to the King James Bible. It’s a fascinating study with a lot of unexpected stories mixed in.

On Wednesday, I was with Steve Yohn for our inaugural Authors’ Corner. Our focus was on The Sick Man’s Rage – its origins, its purpose, along with a little glimpse into its storyline. It was a fun time and is well-worth watching. By the way, if you want to view our well-produced trailer for the new book, check it out.

I know there have been struggles for some of you who like to monitor my Telegram channel from outside of the app. Let me assure you, this is a Telegram issue and there is nothing we can do about it. If you want to join my Telegram channel, you may do so here.

Again, it’s a beautiful day on the boat and I want to get back to meeting people, so I’m going to keep this a little shorter than usual. Thank you for your prayers for the ministry and for Israel. You are a true blessing, and I am grateful to the Lord for your love and support.

Awaiting His Return,

Know Your Covenant Rights in Christ

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Hosea 4:6

I cannot emphasize enough how vitally important it is for a believer today to know that he is under the new covenant of God’s unmerited favor and no longer under the law. Many good, well-meaning, and sincere believers today are defeated by their lack of knowledge of the new covenant and all the benefits that Jesus has purchased for them at the cross.

“But Pastor Prince, we should not be looking at benefits when we believe in Jesus.”

I am glad that you brought up this point. Let’s look at what the psalmist thinks about this: “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's” (Ps. 103:1–5).

Beloved, this is the heart of God. He wants you to remember all the benefits that Jesus has purchased for you with His blood! It is His heart to see you enjoying every single benefit, every single blessing, and every single favor from Him in the new covenant of His grace.

Forgiveness of sin is yours. Health is yours. Divine protection is yours. Favor is yours. Good things and the renewal of youth are yours!

These are all precious gifts from the Lord to you, and it brings Him unspeakable joy when He sees you enjoying these gifts and succeeding in life. But it is the lack of knowledge of what Jesus has accomplished at the cross that has robbed many believers of enjoying these good gifts and benefits.

This reminds me of a story I read of a man who visited an impoverished old lady who was dying. As he sat next to her bed in the cramped confines of her dilapidated home, a single frame hanging on her spartan wall caught his attention.

Instead of a picture, the frame held a yellowed piece of paper with some writing on it. He asked the lady about that piece of paper and she replied, “Well, I can’t read, so I don’t know what it says. But a long time ago, I used to work for a very wealthy man who had no family. Just before he died, he gave me this piece of paper and I’ve kept it in remembrance of him for the past 40 or 50 years now.”

The man took a closer look at the framed contents, hesitated for a moment, then said, “Do you know that this is actually the will and testament of that man? It names you as the sole beneficiary of all his wealth and property!”

For close to 50 years, that lady had lived in abject poverty, working day and night to eke out a meager existence for herself. During all this time, she was actually the owner of a sprawling estate and enviable riches. However, her own ignorance had utterly robbed her of a life of wealth and luxury that she could have enjoyed.

It is a sad story, but what is even sadder is that this tragedy is played out every day in the lives of believers who do not realize the inheritance that Jesus bequeathed them when He gave up His life at the cross.

What we need today are not more laws to govern believers. What we need is a greater revelation and appreciation of Jesus and everything that He has done for us! In Hosea 4:6, God lamented, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

Let’s not be numbered among these people. Instead, let us be a people who are full of the knowledge of Jesus, His person, His love, and His finished work.

Don't allow your ignorance to rob you anymore. Find out all about your covenant rights in Christ today!
